Monday, September 19th: District-wide Fall In-Service, Sylvania Campus. No, you don’t have to attend in-service now that you’ve retired! However, the Retiree Network will kick off our Rose Scholarship fund raising raffle during in-service week and we will be looking for a few retiree volunteers to attend events at each campus during in-service week. You won’t be selling anything, just handing out flyers to promote the raffle. We’re working out final details with the PCC Foundation and the Federation. Interested retirees can watch for a special message in your email within a few days. But think of it this way, you will get to enjoy the socializing aspects of in-service, revisiting your ‘old campus’, seeing friends and colleagues and you won’t have to go to any meetings! Now that’s how retirement ought to be!
