PCC Retiree Network Events for March 2016

Wednesday, March 9th, 1:00 p.m.  Happy Lunch:  Once again we are trying a new venue for lunch. This month we will gather at the Double Dragon restaurant (1235 SE Division Street, right at the Southwest corner of the Ladds’ Addition neighborhood). The Double Dragon offers a mix of Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese dishes. Check out the website (by clicking on Double Dragon above) for more information. In order to make reservations we’ll need RSVP’s by 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 7th.  Please RSVP by reply to the emailed version of this calendar of events or use the ‘comment’ box at the bottom of this posting.

Thursday, March 17th, 9:15 a.m.  Art & Conversation – Portland Art Museum: This month’s topic:  Contemporary Native Photographers and the Edward Curtis Legacy presentation by Julia Dolan, White Curator of Photography & Deana Dartt, Curator of Native American Art.  Coffee at 9:15 a.m., followed by the lecture at 10:15 a.m. This monthly event at the Portland Art Museum is free to adults 62 and over.

Wednesday, March 23rd, 11:30 a.m. Pinot & Prose Book Club at Walter Mitty’s Restaurant:  Our March reading selection is “The Big Sky” by A.B. Guthrie

Wednesday, March 23rd, 1:00 p.m. Retiree Network Business Meeting, at Walter Mitty’s Restaurant.
