February (all month): The Cascade Festival of African Films.  This annual event celebrates its 26th year, click the link for details.

Wednesday, February 10th at 1:00 p.m.: Happy Lunch  We’ve decided to try a new venue which was suggested by a retiree, The Eastmoreland Grill. (Inside the club house at the Eastmoreland Golf Club, 2425 SE Bybee Blvd, Portland, (503) 775-5910) Please RSVP by Monday, February 8 for reservations by replying to your emailed version of this list or by using the “Comments” field below this posting.

Wednesday, February 17th: PCC Day at the Capitol, Once again the Foundation will be providing a bus to Salem for those participating in this event. Advanced sign-ups are required. Thursday, February 18th, Art & Conversation, Portland Art Museum, Coffee at 9:15 a.m.; lecture at 10:15a.m.:  This month’s topic is Contemporary Northwest Art Awards presentation by Bonnie Laing-Malcomson, Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Curator of Northwest Art.  This monthly series is free for adults 62 and over.

Wednesday, February 24, 2016, 11:30 a.m.: Pinot & Prose Book Club. Our February selection is “By Its Cover” by Donna Leon at Walter Mitty’s Restaurant.
