Friday, May 15th, PCC Annual Retirement Dinner: Due to scheduling conflicts in prior years, this year’s Retirement Dinner has been moved up to Friday, May 15th.
Sunday, May 17th, (2:00 p.m.) The Foundation will once again be providing complementary tickets for retirees to attend the PCC Sylvania Theater Department performance of Glass Menagerie, on Sunday, May 17th at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 21st, Art & Conversation – Portland Art Museum: 9:15 a.m. lecture at 10:00 a.m. Mary Weaver Chapin, Ph.D., Curator of Graphic Arts, discusses David Hockney: A Rake’s Progress, a collaboration with the Portland Opera and the David Hockney Foundation. Taking inspiration from The Rake’s Progress, a series of paintings and engravings by the 18th-century English artist William Hogarth’s series, Hockney’s A Rake’s Progress was published as a portfolio of 16 etchings in 1963 and is considered one of the high points of his early career.

Future Events (June):
Garden tour: Dick Hollenbeck has agreed to lead another garden tour. This year we selected the garden known as ‘Bishop’s Close’ (officially The Garden at Elk Rock). The tour will be on Wednesday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch at Petit Provence in Lake Oswego at 1:00 p.m. Parking is limited so we will need to encourage car pooling and we will need to have RSVP’s received by Saturday, June 6th.
Association of Northwest Landscape Designers’ 11th Annual Garden Tour, is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the ANLD scholarship program for aspiring landscape designers attending Clackamas CC and Portland CC.
