Retiree Lunch Gathering: Wednesday, April 8th, at 1:00 p.m. at ‘Seasons & Regions’ (6660 SW Capitol Hwy. Note: Overflow parking is available at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center across the street.) In order for us to make reservations please RSVP’s by Monday, April 6th, by clicking on ‘comments’ at the end of this announcement or reply to the monthly events email.

Foundation Annual Gala: Friday, April 10th: A few tickets are still available for the Annual PCC Foundation Gala. Contact the Foundation office or buy tickets on line at http://www.pcc.edu/foundation/events/gala/

Art & Conversation: Thursday, April 16, 9:15 a.m. lecture at 10:00 a.m. at the Portland Art Museum. This month’s topic:  Native American fashion and textiles  from the Museum’s permanent collection with Deana Dartt, Ph. D., Curator of Native American Art.

Pinot & Prose Book Club: Wednesday, April 22nd, at 11:30 a.m. at Walter Mitty’s restaurant. Come join us for discussion of our April selection: The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin.   (Our May selection will be Undaunted Courage: Meriwether Lewis, Thomas Jefferson and the Opening of the American West by Stephen Ambrose.)

Monthly Retiree Network Lunch & Business meeting: Wednesday, April 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. at Walter Mitty’s restaurant.

Founders’ Week and Foundation hosted Retiree Luncheon: Founders week will be the second week of May and will include a retiree luncheon hosted by the PCC Foundation on Tuesday, May 12th. The luncheon will be hosted at the Cascade Campus and will be preceded by campus tours.

PCC Annual Retirement Dinner: Due to scheduling conflicts in prior years, this year’s Retirement Dinner has been moved up to Friday, May 15th. Watch your mail for your invitation with location, time and other details.

Spring Birding tour: We’re working on a plan for a tour, potentially led by the Portland Audubon Society for early May.

Rhododendron Garden tour: Dick Hollenbeck has agreed to lead another tour of the Rhoddy Gardens, date to be announced but likely also in May.

Association of Northwest Landscape Designers’ 11th Annual Garden Tour, is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the ANLD scholarship program for aspiring landscape designers attending Clackamas CC and Portland CC.
