September 16 – PCC College Inservice

Fellow Retirees,
Folks, instead of a retiree breakfast this year, you are invited to attend the new president’s speech in the Sylvania Gym which starts at 9 AM and then at noon mosey across the street for a retiree gathering and no-host lunch at Walter Mitty’s restaurant. There we can reconnect and share our stories. Also we will review and suggest new social and service activities for 2013-2014.. See you there, either at the president’s presentation and/or at Walter’s at noon!

Best of Portland Walking Tour

for you and your friends on

Thursday, September 26th at 2pm

When is the last time you have allowed yourself to be a tourist in your own ever-changing town? This professionally-guided tour will open your eyes to some of the architecture, art, food and history of our city that, I swear, you have passed before but probably not really appreciated. The walk on nearly flat ground will last about 2 hours or so with rest stops along the meandering mile-plus route.

We will meet at 1:45PM at the coffee shop in Director Park at the intersection of SW Taylor and SW Park.

There is a convenient Smart Park Garage at 10th and Morrison.  Just walk toward the Fox Tower 10 Theater and you will see the adjoining coffee shop in the park with a milling group of handsome retirees.

Please RSVP!

You may pay your $17 fee to us on site.
