In Passing

Miriam Kloster, a longtime adjunct faculty member in chemistry at PCC, died August 7, 2013. Miriam taught at Rock Creek for the past 13 years, most recently on-line. Miriam was a wonderful colleague and will be missed and well remembered by those who worked with her. Department Chair Gabriele Backes shared that “Miriam was a huge part of piloting the online program and has done a tremendous job in the organization of these classes, and the level of rigor expected from the students. Our students are lucky to have had such a wonderful and determined instructor.”
